Bloggers Gathering with Galeries Lafayette and Nylon Magazine

It was bling, baby, bling!

Here there are the re-cap about the Bloggers Gathering event that took place at Galeries Lafayette Jakarta Lounge in the Pacific Place building last September 25th. Galeries Lafayette gave me an opportunity to explore the stores and develop my personal styling for a chance to win $500 worth gift card. Every bloggers had to create a complete look in mannequin in one of the 3 categories: Mixology, Smokey Rock, and Cocktail time. I choose Smokey Rock to create my own styling, I choose this theme because it's really fit my signature style-masculine with feminine touch; classic with modern twist and bit edgy. It's Kate Moss meets Kate Middleton, That's a sound bite. I am thinking about Rock-Punk Princess when made this styling. I wanted to explore something glamour-feminime and mix it with punk-masculine. 

Based on the judgment of the three jury, Sarah Sugandy, Buyer of Galeries Lafayette Jakarta; Marine Eliard, Marketing Manager of Galeries Lafayette Jakarta; and Anindya Devy, Senior Fashion Editor of Nylon Indonesia, three winners were selected. I did win a first winner for Styling Competition. I was up against 18 Indonesia fashion bloggers; all bloggers that I've respected, needless to say I was surprised by the win. I can tell you it felt like flying to the moon, happy felling that can't describe to words. Thank you so much to Galleries Lafayette and Nylon Indonesia for choose me as a winner!.
