Shirt - Flea Markets, $4
Blazer - Flea Markets, $6
pants - FLea Markets, $5
Belt - FLea Markets, $4
Flats - FLea Markets, $8
Necktie - DIY from my mom's old scarf

I haven't post an outfits post in quite a while. quite. in fact, If I remember correctly, the last time I did, I was wearing stripes. My bestfriend suggested me to run an installment for this blog, so this is the first post of it. While I do love high fashion, the prospect of buying expensive stuff just seems so wrong. I don't want to do that. Why ?. It will end with feeling guilty and the stuff ended in the deep of my wardrobe. I don't want see that stuff again. Why ? Because it remind me that my money was gone. That's feeling is normal ?. I don't know. Something to think about. So, circling back to my point about new installment, I introduced all of you to "Cheap&Chic". I offer sort of advice how to chic with low budget. It's simple, really.

Summer doesn't have to mean tank top and shorts. you still can wear black to black–Thanks to Mr. Slimane to make it trends. This outfit inspired from Saint Laurent SS 2013. Believe it or not I just spend $27 for this outfit. I've got them after dogfight with the seller at flea markets. I'm just kidding. Anyway I’ve got a white shirt $4, black blazer $6, black pants $5, belt $4, and flats shoes $8. I can't found the perfect scarf so I DIY my mom's old scarf. See that? I am wearing Ain't Laurent.

SEEKING POWDER, FINDING FOUNDATION

DSC_4516

Beside fashion I also love beauty stuff, I love man dressing and sometime my outfits totally boyish, but as a girl I want to look pretty outside—the character of the girl. It’s been a long time since I wanted to share with you about my beauty products—today, foundation and powder. I’ve been experimenting and trying many different products before I found what work well and suited me.

I’m naturally pale with visible pores and panda eyes—yeah zombie, so I need foundation to carpet over blemishes and zombies. But I don’t want to look too awful, it should look natural without anyone notice there is a little secret behind ;). This Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation in 20 Beige is what I was looking for; it’s very light, natural coverage, look flawless yet natural, sinks in fast and takes beautifully to skin. I use it on a number of different occasions and come to conclusion that I love this foundation. Some tips for finding foundation is choose the right shade for you, yes that’s it. Because foundation it’s all about shade.

Natural look is definitely part of my philosophy, so I like powder that make my skin matte. Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder is my favorite powder, I’ve used this for two years to covered my main issue—get shiny when the weather getting hot. The reason why I like this powder because it’s colorless and very light, so it doesn’t feel I adding another layer to my skin, 100% sheer to my skin. My skin look touchable and breathable. It makes me don’t need Clean&Clear oil absorbing sheets again—thanks God. I use Make Up For Ever HD Kabuki Brush to dusting this powder over my face.

How about you ? What’s your favorite Powder and Foundation ?

As the weather is getting warmer and warmer, lighter shades is a must. And sugary sweet pastel shades that coated the spring/summer 2013 is the best way to give a brighter and refreshed touch to your look. pink, peach, yellow or mint, all those candy-coated will make you feel like a sugar, uplift your mood and enlinghten your whole outfit.

I give in to you my sweet side with head to toe pastels, I choose cherry blossom colors because they are very remind me of my childhood, the days when licca-chan is my bestfriend. I combine Mango flare pants with Stardivarius sweater, the sweater is bit oversized to give a balance shape and for added confidence.

Tee - Topshop
Jacket - CRES E. DIM
Faux leather pants - Asos
Scarf - Thrift store
Shoes - Zara (similiar here)
Watch - DKNY

These photos were abviously taken in rainy day, on a bussy day spent preparing graduation party. Summer with dark outfit is something normal for me, because I live in tropical island. Here we don't have color rules like dark colors for winter and bright colors for summer. We can wear black everyday and no one think that you haven't buy summer wardrobe. The statement jacket can be a little challenging, especially in sharp shouldered form. Here I styled it with black tee and black scarf to add interest with layers, black always works with everything. I toughen up the look with faux leather pants to balance the layers and Zara pumps give the glamour touch.

This outfit is one of collaboration project with CRES E. DIM
, my favorite south korean label beside yesimfrench. They invited me to their show at Seoul fashion Week last week, sadly I can't come to their show because graduation party. If you guys curious with their collection, visit on these social media:
(1) Facebook, (2) Twitter, (3) Pinterest, (4) Tumblr, and (5) Blogger.
